Image, Andrew Gray at a Museum handling event
This summer we have a great and unique opportunity for KS3 or KS4 students to come to The Manchester Museum to meet Andrew Gray, the Museum’s Curator of Herpetology (Reptiles and Amphibians). Andrew has a great blog you can visit here.
Students will have the opportunity to get close to some of the Museum’s live animals and develop their understanding of the natural world. Andrew will talk about his work in the Museum and abroad with these fascinating animals. Students will have time to ask their questions at the end of the session.
After meeting Andrew, students will take part in the Adapt! Workshop, an interactive gallery tour using OOKL phone technology. For more info on OOKL, see Laurens recent post about this session here.
This session is limited to 30 students per session and is FREE OF CHARGE (usually £75)
Dates: June 23rd (sorry this date has been booked) and July 15th 2009
Time: 1 to 3pm
For more information please contact Louise Sutherland on 0161 275 8761
