It’s a bittersweet day today, our Lead Educator (Secondary and Post-16 Sciences), Lauren Furness is leaving us for pastures new.  Lauren has been a part of the Learning Team since Janurary 2007 taking responsibility for overseeing the coordination and delivery of our Science offer.

Its been a real pleasure to see Lauren work hard and make the job here her own, creating new, exciting and innovative programmes, training up our PhD student demonstrators and making connections with the wide variety of students we see here at The Museum.

I know that I am going to miss her boundless enthusiasm for all things science related, her crazy Canadian accent and her fashion mistakes choices!  Our office will be all the quieter for her departure.

So, until our first working lunch meeting, its Goodbye and Good Luck in for her new role!!
