Higher Futures 4U at The Manchester Museum

We have recently had a new addition to the Secondary and Post-16 team here at The Manchester Museum.  We are delighted to welcome Jon Gabony as the Higher Futures 4U Coordinator for the University of Manchester.

Higher Futures 4U is a fantastic project working with primary schools in Greater Manchester that aims to raise the aspirations and increase motivation for all pupils that participate.  Pupils get to take part in workshops looking at their futures, get involved in family workshops, carry out a visit to find out more about the (sometimes mystifying) world of work and then have a gowned graduation at the end of the programme.

Jon is very busy getting the rest of this term sorted for the schools he is currently working with, but hopefully he will have time to give us little updates every so often.  For those interested in finding out more about the project, you can visit the excellent Higher Futures 4U website, that will tell you everything you need to know!
